Omaruru has a small but very active and friendly German community which hosts regular events and festivals during every year. Most famous of these is the Omaruru Arts Festival in August every year. This festival attracts thousands of people from all over the country and South Africa.

The Omaruru river floods 2-3 times each year and it is a beautiful spectacle to observe the masses of water passing by the farm (See attached photo) .The farm boundary extends halfway into the Omaruru River.

Average rainfall as recorded by us ranges from 350 – 700mm per rain season, but we have recorded rains exceeding 900mm during some years.

The Omaruru River basin provides a good and stable supply of fresh water and it is not necessary to drill very deep.

Ownership and Legal:

The farm is registered as a Closed Corporation (cc)

A full and up to date government issued waiver is available.

Owners must retire due to poor health and old age.
